What are the continual thoughts we hold onto that begin to mold us, creating beliefs that can either limit or expand the realm of your life? These images as well as thoughts we continue to loop in our brain, firing and wiring into our nervous system, affecting your internal self image. These beliefs if taken for granted, begin to mold us and too often limit the way we think and feel about ourselves an influence everything we do.
What is the thought that showed itself just prior to how we moved? Is there background noise of negativity, fear, hopelessness or can we transition any of these normal emotions to shift and create another thought and way of being? Yes, of course we can, as we are moveable beings unless we believe otherwise. What are your beliefs, the things you tell yourself over and over again, are they positive thoughts or are you drowning into negativity?
I often share that in my era of awakening to The Feldenkrais Method®, most arrive feeling hopeless. In this approach in how we learn we can relearn and rewire our brain for the better!. We’ve been shopping to find the next best thing that will fix us but alas, have we thought about our internal beliefs, states of being that in fact affect us as every thought an emotion presents with a muscular configuration! So might that sense of work and effort transition to something that feels easier? My response is yes of course as it happened for me and so many I work with to share this process of how each one of us can become more masterful in how we think, feel and move. We simply need to change our habits, or maybe better yet, create improved habits.
We recognize effort, that sense of resistance having been taught how to push into it, and sometimes that’s exactly what we have to do. Can we also learn how to deflect and transition to a pathway of ease? What does easy feel like? If it’s easy I can share, it’s efficient!
So here’s my thought for this week, when for whatever reason, everything seems hopeless, become the hope! Just like a morphic field of energy, this positiveness will transcend above and beyond the limiting beliefs an allow something new an improved to evolve!
