Peggi has been one of my favorite teachers since I first met her years ago in the NYC teacher training program. She’s one of those rare teachers who truly cares to be empathetic, free of bias, patient, respectful, aware, disciplined, and professional. She creates a safe and caring environment, necessary for the vulnerable and deep learning that occurs with Feldenkrais. She has got to be one of the best FI practitioners in all the world! Each time I’ve had an FI lesson with her, I come away completely transformed. She’s totally present with me in a way that allows for a truly integrative and magical experience.

I’m 72 years old and have been taking Feldenkrais lessons by way of Zoom from Peggi for 2+ years. When I saw a technician for a health test the other day, the woman said to me “you have the gait of a thirty year old. What do you do for exercise?”
“I tried one of your free lessons today and moved out of pain quickly. I have loved trying a variety of lessons by different practitioners lately, but I find that yours are the loveliest for relieving pain and being kind and curious with myself.”
Feldenkrais is the best thing that ever happened to me. I want to do some in-person visits!
Thank you for this year. Your classes have gotten me through the pandemic and so much more. I have a new body. I can’t really describe how but I feel different. Look forward to being on the floor more. Here’s to 6 more months.
I appreciate that this is a slow process and will take time to unravel so will enjoy the journey! Practicing Feldenkrais has been great for me to relax and go more with the flow. Since our lesson, I definitely feel subtle changes and something has shifted! So exciting…… This method truly is a life changer. If only everyone who strives and efforts as I did, realized that.
Looking back over this year, your classes have been among the best experiences of the year 2020. I think about how I move when I walk, when I stand and cook, when I sit and read or knit (and need to also use my arms and hands). I try to relax into comfort and to pay attention to what would make something easier or more productive. Sometimes I do a lot of very physical activity. It was possible without pain. Instead, I felt energized and refreshed. You have helped with all of this.
