The Beauty of Imperfection
The Beauty of Imperfection
Being in search of questions, allowing the answers to evolve is a form of curiosity. Start with questions of what you want as this opens a pathway to begin to follow. When you notice your energy and focus is moving in the opposite direction you would hope for – take a pause, listen to your breathing. Are you breathing freely or is there holding? Then change the direction, where your attention is aimed and move maybe in the opposite direction or another pathway and then notice what changes. We can always find a way to move forward but going back will never be the same. You can remember the past that can inform you but find another direction forward in some pathway that encourages improvement instead of perfection.
Taking time for processing information, creating options and more choices is healing for each of us. You can take the time to pause, find another possibility other than those that are more hardwired into you and then choice becomes available. The ability to take a little vacation from your normal way of doing things is crucial to enable another outcome. You can think of this as if you simply pulled over to the side to pause and rest, notice how this can reboot you, your focus, awaken your energy to restart yourself. Remember where your eyes go, your power follows. Lift your eyes up to your horizon and notice what changes. This focus forward and a bit up although for many feels so different from your habitual, is also allowing you to feel freer, more open to possibilities instead of closed and shut down to what’s in front of you, offering another option to move forward!
I will return this week to classes resuming Wednesday as well as seeing clients both live and virtually. Offering more options and possibilities is the HOW while what we explore through movement in a slightly different way begins to open so many more choices. Just that little difference makes a huge improvement that begins to awaken and spread exponentially to inform your body that informs your mind!
I am now posting these weekly newsletters on the website in the Insights tab under the Learning section. I welcome your feedback, those of you who regularly read this far.
I look forward to seeing you again to awaken our bodies through gentle movement that inform our mind.
Warmest,
Peggi
