Mysteries

Do you ever wonder what this has to do with improving, learning and growing?

When you can change your perspective one small degree, notice how from little shifts, everything exponentially changes for the better. Even if you don’t notice a change, that little step can reverse and alter your focus or trajectory in small increments that finally build to an enhanced change. Just little subtle movements and find mysteriously how you found a better pathway to improvement.

Albert Einstein shared his passion of curiosity. Starting from not knowing, he asked lots of questions and became interested in the mysteries that began to unfold before him.

“The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. This is the source of all art and science.”

When we rest for a moment in the not knowing, after all, knowing something is our familiar, our habits activate. Do you ever take a moment to consider another way of being? In an Awareness Through Movement (ATM)® lesson, time is given to pause and rest in the moment, to consider another option that is possibly not your familiar way of doing something. It becomes a mystery to slowly consider another pathway, another trajectory, how to modify to suit you best, how to accommodate what you need to allow something to become easier, more fluid and comfortable. Now that’s how babies learn and develop and it’s only when things are imposed on you that you can cease listening to the mysterious.

There are 4 afternoon ATMs to tap into this week so hope to see you on the floor when the timing is right to awaken to another mysteriously enjoyable experience in how you move better, easier and with more grace and comfort!

Warmest,

Peggi
