Refining Skills
Refining Skills, it’s how we do this!
It’s a process we arrive at through listening from which we take an action! Feldenkrais Access™ took an action as this weekend, we presented a day of ATM for a Benefit to support the Ukraine effort. So many of us giving from our hearts – we raised over $20k. All the proceeds will go to the organization Alfred Einstein created in 1933 for War Relief Fund and so all of this gift will go to support and aid all the Ukrainians who are displaced. Thank you to all, whether you participated in the benefit, as well as any of you who sent thoughts of support, love and kindness to find another way to offer aid, it’s in our Random Acts of Kindness that count!
These lessons we taught were a way into discerning through subtle movements, subtle and significant differences that change our state of mind and being. When we move better, we feel better and when we feel better, we have more energy, vitality, finding ease, after all, easy means it’s efficient and life becomes pleasant. Notice all the little improvements that exponentially allow us to move forward. Become aware of your habits, then you can create differences, to create your dreams! Little baby steps forward, and sometimes a two step back or shuffle to the side, it’s moving into ease, and find what efficient feels like!
“If you focus on the problem then you have a problem for life.”
“Habits are when we decide how to act before we are aware that we had a choice” – Moshe Feldenkrais
Two ATM classes this week, Tuesday and Wednesday as I’m off to enjoy a retrospective of artist Keith Haring’s work in Doylestown, PA. Hope to see you in class refining improvement through subtle and discerning movements that awaken our mind body and brain!
