Moving forward, Finding Neutral

Moving forward, Finding Neutral

What does Improving a life require? It’s making things accessible with a cooperative and omnipresent sense of creating connections!

What are you committed to? What drives you forward? Do you hold onto something that keeps you immobile unable to move and learn? By going back or even holding firm you may create contractions, plateaus and then develop complacency. What is it you are dedicated to and devout about? Is it something you might consider a humanistic focus? Are there comparisons to be aware of, like if you’re holding onto something elusive? Asking good and powerful questions will help you open your mind to better possibilities.

“Stability is nice. It also means difficulty to initiate movements as well as difficulty to be moved. Stability increases the feeling of safety. Instability means risk, but easy mobility. Both are biologically important. Being addicted to one of them makes one unsafe for lack of choice.” – Moshe Feldenkrais

The questions I begin to ask are; What activities engage the human mind? What is the role that curiosity plays? Play is essential to cognitive growth and development in children, as we learn through making comparisons. We are all children at heart while the process of being able to play, this is a critical piece as to how we advance and learn how to problem solve as the process unfolds. Play does evolve as we grow older but the elements of play involves curiosity and wonder. These characteristics are central to the process of life.

This week I return to my regular 4 ATM afternoon classes. I welcome you to join to find this place of activities that engage, awaken an enable us to continue to grow. Play is a major factor, when we engage, we create a sense of fun and amusement! When we engage, we find ways to overcome restraints and constraints. How to work around limitations to create more freedom and ease! When something feels easy, it’s optimal. What does efficient feel like? It’s the sensation of learning new things that improve your mind body spirit.

I hope you’ll join me this week for classes that awaken this sense of finding ease that spread into every aspect of your life!
