What Do You Need?

What do you need?

“Love’s In Need of Love Today”   – Stevie Wonder

Wanting as well as needing to be informed, I also have to be mindful of how much of the “doom scrolling” my nervous system can tolerate. After all, we all realize that bad news sells! Listening internally will allow each of you to begin to recognize when enough is enough. Then, HOW do you transition your state of being to one that keeps you motivated, focused and curious even when there are really hard decisions to make? Can you find a way to maintain a sense of balance within? Especially when there is a specific physical concern that can steal all of our attention, how to open your focus to a more integrative whole. It starts by feeling yourself – that informs your awareness of choices you can make. It’s in the choices were we begin to access more options and find more ways to move forward even in the darkest hour that remember, is just before dawn!

It’s a situation, not a problem” – Bonnie Raitt

Any issue does not stand alone, it is associated with other things so when we can begin to consider a more integrative way to organize, our movements they become nicer and easier, our state of being improves and our outlook can also shift to see what we want and not what we are afraid of! Can you begin to recognize how to link your actions with a sense of ease and pleasure as many of us have learned how to push through to complete something and check it off the list. That pushes into fatigue and discomfort. So, take the moment to join us, settle in, rest and begin to sense within you, all the possibilities by connecting to yourself and then find how this opens so many doors as we continue to connect to others.

Due to a business trip that takes me away from my office, there will be 2 ATM classes this week (Tuesday & Wednesday afternoons). What better way then to take the time to quiet, turn inwards and find a deeper way of listening that awakens your attention to create rapport with yourself as well as with others.

In this time of the Jewish New Year (Rosh Hashana) I wish you all sweetness the holiday represents. It’s my dream to create a world of honoring and recognizing each other and the gifts we bring!

Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you’ll find one at the end of your arm and as you grow older you will discover that you have 2 hands: 1 to help yourself, the other for helping others!

Wishing you all the warmth of the sun, a fire that crackles and warms the chill in the air and a sweetness as we continue forward, onward and upward.
