When Should You?
When Should You?
Often times we tell ourselves “oh I should do something.” We think by knowing what we should do, it will help us get to where we want to be. Is should going to get your there? Probably not. But refocusing your attention to something stronger can help. How about – I must do it. The intention of must doing something means you have gone further in your decision making and deciding doing the action becomes and absolute. I must finish this, I must learn something new today, I must commit to expanding my awareness.
What better way to improve how you think, feel and move then to explore harmonious actions in mind, thought and how you organize yourself in movement, just like a baby discovering their body for the first time. Playful actions will empower you, create ways to think outside of the box, how you respond to stimulus, how you think and reflect on action. You can take an action to help others, join them in a small action to grow and move forward into a better place. I get a sense this is what we are all struggling with in these hectic and turbulent times.
Awareness Through Movement (ATM)® classes are a way to open up awareness into how your movements create change, also how, when you take better care of yourself, you are able to lend a helping hand and support others possibly more in need.
“A basic condition for harmonious coordination is complete freedom from either self-compulsion or compulsion from others.” – Moshe Feldenkrais
This week there are 4 afternoon ATM classes to join live on Zoom or reach out for the audio file to download and explore whenever you like. Monthly memberships as well as drop in classes are at an extremely reasonable rate. Reach out if you are not currently receiving the links for class, I send them out weekly every Sunday. Be lovely to share this body or knowledge in how we not only help ourselves, you then help another and create a bit more happiness and harmony.
Warmest,
Peggi
