Things I notice

During this era of Covid, so many awakenings have come forth. I’ve been able to recognize and make choices that enable and honor me with the comfort of living in my own world! I’ve needed to ask better questions and figure out how to realize my dreams. Can I create alternate dreams when the ones I had were interrupted. I’m accepting innovation using newer options, stepping outside of my known ways of doing, so that I don’t fall into stagnation. I dream of what I would like it to be as a dream has no limits. I can see and know that, from the sky I can sail further beyond.

My present circumstances are not what determine where I can go, they are my starting point from where I launch forward!

Where are you in this moment? Are you in a place you want to be? Are there things you would like to improve and make better? Isn’t this our dance? The dance of life! Are you living your life, creating new choices that arise when other choices were not as optimal? How have you been able to transition and translate to remake your dreams? Do you entertain dreams? A dream can offer insights that can support and help propel you forward. Create and make new dreams, they are only limited by your own self expression!

In order for any of this to be realized you need to step away for a moment from the place you are parked. Start your engines and allow a little movement to transition you to a different place even if it’s only a small step. That small step taken is an action that leads you to another step that can move you forward to find your next dream. Allow your dreams to come true and you can dream whatever you want so that you can follow that insight and find your new pathway forward into living in your own world!

Awareness Through Movement lessons are a perfect way to enable these baby steps. Forward, backwards, making things reversible and renewing ourselves. When you can move in any direction without unnecessary effort, moving outside your standard and normal way of doing the same thing over and over again, you actually enable a soothing and calming to your tissues that too often are already fatigued and exhausted from too much straining and effort, pushing into resistance instead of finding other pathways.

For some this can be difficult, as we can have a tendency to hold onto the familiar. So here’s my offer to you. I invite you to join me for as many Awareness Through Movement (ATM)® lessons you need to begin noticing a change. When you take time to pause, settle into your body that begins to inform your mind! Join me in learning how to take baby steps in finding other choices that can only improve your life! Aren’t you worth the amount of time it takes to consider what it feels like when you move better? Here’s what I do know, when you move better with greater ease and less effort, you feel better. When you feel better, you have more energy and vitality and with that comes more clarity so that you can realize these changes are within your capacity to explore gently, little bits at a time. That’s the gift I give myself everyday and I’m sure, you like me will also come to realize the power within your reach only requires your commitment to yourself, little bits at a time.

I have 4 afternoon ATM classes this week, however I will take a pause for my own restorative process to enjoy a bit of summer wonder in the Keys the following week. You can start this week or after I return to awaken you body and inform your mind!
