The Benefits of Tuning In

The Benefits of Tuning In

We all possess an internal voice and it sometimes speaks clearly, to help guide our choices. Most of the time your inner voice is subtler, and yet how often do we overlook the importance of listening. This is your psyche speaking directly to you with potent information.

When you tune out, you lose the consciousness and awareness in how you are living and activating in your daily life. When you disassociate from listening within, you fall back into your wired-in habits. These chronic hard wired patterns, when unchecked, are compulsions. Doing without thinking. Habits activate in the sub-conscious mind, so observe the benefits when you slow it down a bit. It offers you more choices and options.

Direct your soft attention with no judgement to learn better how to listen. Sense and feel within when there is congruence, you’ll feel a resonance. This is learning better how to distinguish the difference between an action that feels light and easy, smooth and fluid – compared to one that is forced, pushing to achieve, where you experience resistance.

One is the sense of efficiency while the other, over time, creates heat, friction, wear and tear, and if unaddressed will become diagnosed and referred to as a pathology. Reverse this process and notice how immediately you benefit from learning how to tune in.

Please join me for weekly Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement (ATM)® lessons live on Zoom as well as visit my YouTube Channel to benefit from an assortment of FREE ATM daily lessons. “My purpose is to allow people to move closer to actually being creatures of free choice, to genuinely reflect individual creativity and emotion, freeing the body of habitual tensions and wired-patterns of behavior so that it may respond without inhibition to do what the person wants.” – Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais

Reach out if you would like to receive my weekly ATM lesson links so you have them whenever the timing is right. For only $15 you can drop in and participate in one of these actual live sessions. You have options with so many possibilities.
