A Thanksgiving Wish

A Thanksgiving wish I share with all of you.

The longer I live, the more deeply I learn that love, whether we call it friendship or family or romance is the work of mirroring and magnifying each other’s light. This is gentle work, steadfast work, life saving work. In these moments when life and shame and sorrow occlude our own light from our view, remember that there is still a clear eyed, loving person to beam it back. On our best moments we are that person for another!

The idea above was offered from Marie Popova, Bulgarian-born, American-based essayist. And while frequently attributed to James Baldwin, another great author, activist, it is my hope that we all turn inwards to reflect on what makes us happy and how to move forward, one little baby step at a time. We are not alone, we are rewiring in our humanity for all that live. May we live together in peace, finding our way through to the other side.

Wiring in new and improved habits is the work of The Feldenkrais Method®. During this week of Thanksgiving, may we all soften our hearts to reconnect within and with others. Start first by resting comfortably on the floor and gently, slowly, so as to draw attention to how you are exploring a movement, find your way into ease, rewiring into your intelligent nervous system more optimal choices to move forward out of the dark and into the light.

Learning is the means whereby we put intention into action – Moshe Feldenkrais

I will offer one ATM this week on Saturday the 25th at noon and then return the end of the month into December with my classes as well as a new offering. Keep you posted to what lies ahead😉.

I hope I have earned the privilege of your time and attention.

Warmest,

Peggi
